Qaiwan International University

QIU is the first university in Iraq to follow (IACLE) programs

The International Association of Contact Lenses Educators, stated that Qaiwan International University stands as the inaugural institution in Iraq to implement the educational programs endorsed by IACLE. Furthermore, the association highlighted that the Department of Optometry at QIU employs a contemporary teaching approach akin to esteemed universities globally.

In their publication, the International Association of Contact Lenses Educators specifically acknowledged Mr. Amanj Salah Mahmoud, lecturer at the Department of Optometry at QIU, as the key coordinator of this initiative. Mr. Amanj, recognized as a member of the association, possesses over a decade of expertise in optometry, ophthalmology, and contact lenses.
