Tooth pain and what a pain it is, what an annoying strong unwanted sensation, but we all go through it at some point in our lives whether we like it or not! And that’s the sad truth.
Most of us can remember or imagine the feeling when I talk about tooth pain and specifically here I want to talk about the pain that we feel after tooth extraction (removing a tooth). Most of us experience wisdom tooth extraction in our lives, and as soon as I mentioned it I am sure that in your head you went back in memory to your own experience with extractions and remembered all the pain and discomfort that you went through.
Usually the wound that occurs after tooth removal takes days to weeks or even months to heal. But, why this long? This is because the wound involves not only your gum (soft tissue) but it can be extended to involve the bone (hard tissue) within your mouth as well, and that is what makes the wound take so long to heal.
So, what do we do when our wound is complex and involves both soft and hard tissue? Usually the dentists do not prescribe anything specific to speed up the healing process after tooth extractions! Because of this I have thought of a natural plant that has been known for decades for its healing properties. This plant is also considered a super food and very beneficial for health. You can find it in the super markets around you marketed for its health benefits. It has even entered in the making of clothing for decades. This plant is… drumroll please… Flaxseed! Yes, it’s the seeds of the flax plant also known as flaxseed.
Personally in my own research I have extracted flaxseeds and produced a pure extract of the plant. I have applied this extract to the exact cells that are involved in the process of wound healing after extraction of soft and hard tissue together, mixed up in a mesh system thereby resembling the human wound. And guess what the results came out to be… The wound closed up after only 18 hours of adding my amazing flaxseed extract in the system that I had made to mimic the human wound of the mouth, compared to cells without the extract - which is usually the case as the wound is left untreated. The cells only started to grow back after 72 hours from the experiment.
Now I want you to imagine again if we formulate this extract to something that we can apply to our wounds after our tooth removal, how much less pain and discomfort this can save us. And wouldn’t it be amazing to know that what you’re putting in your body is also 100% natural without risking any chemicals from entering our body.
Finally, to answer the question - Can I stop my tooth pain (after removal) naturally? It’s a strong YES, we can heal our oral wounds and reduce our pain and discomfort naturally.
