A seminar about “The Selfish Gene” was presented at QIU

Mr. Ramyar Mohammed Sulaiman, a lecturer of Faculty of Health Sciences at Qaiwan International University, delivered a seminar on January 23, 2024, on “The Selfish Gene” emphasizing the role of selfishness in survival. He posited that the inherent selfishness within genes is a vital mechanism for the survival of living organisms, contributing to the formation of societal structures like villages, cities, and countries. According to him, this intrinsic selfishness is not necessarily meant for misuse but serves as an unconscious driving force for human survival.
