Pedagogy Center (CPTAD)

Center of Pedagogy Training and Academic Development (CPTAD) of Qaiwan International University was established based on an official order from Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on December 13, 2023. Since then, our center managed to offer pedagogy training courses to applicants who hold postgraduate degrees in various disciplines.

Vision

As an officially recognized center, our vision is to become the top innovative and effective pedagogy course provider allover Kurdistan Region and Iraq, by using the latest techniques to advance an educator’s understanding of how students learn. Our center’s mission also includes facilitating professional growth by enabling collaboration between course participants within the realm of their scientific and academic interests, leading to joint academic activities and research endeavors.

Recent Activity

  • We have started Round One of our center’s pedagogy courses with tens of postgraduate degree holders in diverse disciplines. Three modules, out of the total six modules, of the training course have so far been covered. We expect the first batch of our center’s graduates will be due by mid July 2024.
  • We have announced accepting applicants for the second round of our center’s pedagogy courses, which is expected to begin later this month (April 2024).
