Qaiwan International University (QIU) was established in 2018 in Sulaimanyah, Kurdistan
Region of Iraq. It was initially established as a franchise of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
(UTM), aiming to provide local students with access to international education without the
need to study abroad, thereby reducing the financial burden on students and their families.
Later in 2022, QIU expanded its offerings by introducing additional programs franchised by
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), further diversifying its educational portfolio.
If a student violated the rules and regulations of the examination as in Item 8.0
and is found guilty by the Faculty examination Committee, the Senate can take any of
the following action:
Will be given ZERO (0) mark for the course (inclusive of coursework); or
Will be given ZERO (0) mark for all the courses registered in that semester.
Depending on the severity of a student’s office the faculty Academic Committee
of the Faculty may suggest for disciplinary action according to the Universities
and University Colleges Act 1971, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Discipline of
Students) Rules 1999.
Students who have been found to violate the rules and regulations of the
examinations for the second time will be taken action upon as in item 9.1.2 and;
will be suggested for disciplinary action in according to the Universities and
University Colleges Act 1971, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Discipline of
Students) Rules 1999.
