Pharmacology Laboratory

Pharmacology Laboratory

The QIU Pharmacology Lab is committed to student-centered learning, with the primary goal of providing pharmacology students with a stimulating and interactive educational experience. These labs are designed to actively engage students in hands-on experimentation, providing them with firsthand knowledge of animal handling, drug interactions, mechanisms of action, and pharmacological principles. Through hands-on experiments, data analysis, and discussions with faculty instructors and laboratory assistants, students develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of how drugs affect the human body and the animals used as models in the lab. This student-centered approach encourages active participation, scientific inquiry, and a passion for pharmacology. The pharmacology laboratory fosters a collaborative learning environment, allowing students to develop into well-rounded, competent pharmacologists capable of addressing complex challenges in drug development and therapeutic interventions for the improvement of healthcare outcomes.
