Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) is a tick-borne viral disease belonging to the Nair virus family. Host animals such as cattle, sheep, and goats facilitate the disease’s spread. The host animals that carry the disease are usually asymptomatic. Hence, outbreaks mainly occur in communities and areas where there is direct contact with such animals, including abattoirs and farms.
