On June 5, 2024, the Faculty of Health Sciences at Qaiwan International University hosted a panel discussion on the gap between academic and practical fields for medical support staff. Featuring Mr. Jabar Osman, Director of the Nursing Unit at Sulaymaniyah Health Directorate, and Mr. Sirwan Hama Baqi, Nursing Director at Anwar Sheikha Medical City. Presented by Mr. Ramyar Mohammed, a lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences, the discussion addressed discrepancies between higher education and the health sector, focusing on the skills and needs of nurses in public and private hospitals.
