APPEAL

 Appeal for Review of Final Examination Results

  • Students may appeal for a review of the final examination results of a course. The review can only be done for courses with final examinations by re-evaluating the student’s the final examination answer scripts for the said course.
  • The appeal must be submitted to JAKP/JAF/JAN/JAI by using the Appeal for Review of Final Examination Results Form within fourteen (14) days of the formal announcement of the examination results. 
  • Each appeal will be charged a RM50.00 processing fee for each course.
  • The result of the appeal will be announced within fourteen (14) working days from the closing date of the appeal.The announced result is final.
  • Appeal for a review of results for Special Examinations and Intersessions are not allowed.

 Appeal to Continue Study

  • Students who failed and were dismissed or given the Gugur Taraf status (Revocation of Student Status) during one (1) semester before can appeal to JAKP/JAF/JAN within fourteen (14) days after the date of formal announcement of examination results.
  •  Students are required to make an appeal online through the Student Portal.
  •  The results of the appeal are reviewed by the JAKP/JAF/JAN/JAI.
  •  Each appeal will be charged an RM50.00 processing fee.

Terms for appeal:

  1. Aa appeal is only allowed once during the period of study.
  2. Students who failed and were dismissed under D1 and D2 are not eligible for appeal.
  3. An appeal can only be made by students who failed and were dismissed under D3, D4, D5, D6, and D7 for the examination of the previous one (1) semester or given the GT status for the previous one (1) semester.
  • D3 - D7 students who have their Appeal to Continue Study approved will proceed with their studies in SML mode where the imposed fee will be of PLK rate with a part-time study term.
  • The result of the appeal will be announced within fourteen (14) working days from the closing date of the appeal.The announced result is verified by the Senate and is final.
