DEFERMENT OF STUDY

Deferment of Study (TG)

• TG is a semester status that may be granted with approval by the University due to several reasons. The period of deferment will not be counted as part of the study duration in the University.
• To retain student status, full-time students who have yet to pay their study fees will have to pay RM55.00 and PLK students who have yet to pay their fees will be charged RM45.00(JKP 167).

   Postponement of Study (PG)

• PG is a semester status given due to other than health-related reasons and upon a student’s application.
• The approved semester for the Postponement of Study will be counted as part of the study period in the University and students are required to pay the study fees in full.

The University is entitled to grant the Deferment of Study (TG) status under the advice of the Vice-Chancellor due to reasons that are deemed life-threatening and/or dangerous to the well-being of the student or the community of the university.
