PERMISSION TO BE EXCUSED FROM FINAL EXAMINATION (PERMISSION NOT TO SIT FOR FINAL EXAMINATION)

  • The application to be excused from the final examination of a course must be addressed to the Dean/Rector/Director before the course examination together with related documents/letters.
  • The application to be excused from an ongoing final examination of a course must be addressed to the Dean/Rector/Director within the period of twenty-four (24) hours after the examination. Students are required to present a medical certificate provided by a doctor from the UiTM Medical Centre/government clinics/government medical centres/government hospitals/Medical Officer from employer’s healthcare panels or any related documents/letters.
  • The application can be done in writing or by filling in the Permission to Be Excused from the Final Examination Form.
  • If the application is approved, students will be given XX status for the course.
  • For unapproved applications, students will be given YY status where the marks for coursework will be disregarded for the course.
  • The application will be reviewed by JAKP/JAF/JAN/JAI.
