STUDENT INTAKE

Requirements and qualifications for Diploma and Bachelor programmes are set by JAKP/JAF/JAN/JAI with the approval of the Senate.

   Selection of Students

  1.  The selection of students for the intake of Diploma and Bachelor’s degree programmes are verified by the Faculty.
  2.  The selection of students for the Off-Campus Learning Programmes (PLK) is verified by the College of Studies/Faculty/Academic Centre/UiTM Branch management.
  3.  The selection of students for the intake of the electronic Distance Learning (e-PJJ) programme / Joint-venture/Franchise colleges (PPU)/ approved by the iCEPS Chief Executive Officer.
  • Candidates who apply for the intake of Bachelor programmes must sit for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) and achieve the minimum level/band set by the University.
  • International students must have TOEFL or IELTS qualification with the level set by the University.
  • The admission offer for full-time students is issued by the Student Intake Department and it is only valid for the said semester. The admission offer for part-time students is issued by the iCEPS.
  • The intake of new students for all academic programmes will be at the beginning of the academic semester.
  • Students are not allowed to register for more than one academic programme within the same semester.
  • Full-time students who failed and are dismissed/given gugur status are   
  • not allowed to re-apply for the same Academic Programme. Students of this category can apply for a different Academic Programme after one (1) semester.
  • Students who are found guilty under the minimal disciplinary penalty are SUSPENDED from the academic programme (DG status), up to the maximum penalty of DISMISSAL (DS status) from UiTM during a particular academic semester, will not be allowed to re-apply for any of the University’s academic programmes in the future, without considering students’ academic achievements.
  • Students who withdraw from the University may re-apply for the intake of other academic programmes.
