STUDENTS’ ATTENDANCE

  1. It is compulsory for students to attend lectures and other learning activities such as workshops/ tutorials/ lab sessions/ studio sessions/ fieldwork/ practical training/ practicum/ industrial and clinical training that is set within the curriculum.
  2. Students who do not fulfil 80% attendance of the total contact hours for each course without any written approval by the College of Studies/Faculty/ Academic Centres/UiTM Branches are not allowed to sit for the course’s final examination. In the case of courses without final examinations, the coursework will not be evaluated.

 The total contact hours for online learning are as follows:

  • The time duration of teaching and learning which are done synchronously

or/and

  • The time duration required for students to complete online activities/forums/quizzes/exercises to replace face-to-face learning.

Students who fall into the category mentioned under Clause 2.14.2 and Clause 2.14.3 will be given an F grade or fail with ZZ status along with the imposition of a RM100.00 fine.
