UNDER-REPRESENTED STUDENTS

  • Under-represented students must get the under-represented or pelajar kurang terwakili status from the Student Intake Department/Institute of  Graduate Studies/iCEPS.
  • Present students who become under-represented during their study can make the application to the Dean/ Rector/ Chief Executive Officer of iCEPS to be considered for a change to a full-time (Flexible) mode of  study.

Under-represented students are students with active status from one of the following groups:

Disabled (OKU)

  • Disabled UiTM students or OKU students with an active status and issued the official OKU card by the Social Welfare Department (JKM) during the study period. 
  • Students who suffered from disabilities during the study period and have yet to be issued the official OKU card must get verification from any UiTM Medical Centre or Government Hospitals to enable the UiTM OKU Students Category Study Policy to be applied.

Athletes

  • Students who are subjected to Clause 2.7.3.
  • Orang Asli (Indigenous People)
  • Gifted Students  

Retirees / Senior Citizen

  • Senior citizen students who were previously not able to enrol on higher education (delayed entrance). 
  • Housewives

Family Income Provider

  • Students who delayed their studies for work in order to provide income for their families.

Single Mother/Father

  • Students who are single mothers/fathers have to work to provide for their families/children at the same time.
  • Patients with Chronic Diseases
  • Corporate Figure

 Politicians

  • Students who are members of the parliament, state assembly members, House of Representatives members, senators, and political secretaries who are appointed according to Article 43C of the Federal Constitution. 

 Artists or Advocates of Creative Arts

  • Students who are registered with recognised creative arts associations or students registered under an art accreditation programme.
